Happy Monday, Gentlemen! Let’s continue to lead and love well.  “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 I don’t know about you, but when people ask me how I’m doing, if I was being honest, my standard answer would be “tired”. Whether it’s physically tired from a busy schedule, emotionally tired from trying to be present at work and to my family, or mentally tired from the daily weight of decisions, I’m just plain tired. But Jesus tells us life doesn’t have to be that way. In fact, He says that for His followers, it shouldn’t be. What I’ve found to be true about myself is that I pretty much always believe in Jesus, but I don’t always believe Jesus. It’s one thing to believe in a historical figure who died for you and rose from the dead, it’s another thing to chose to believe that what He says is true. Jesus promises those that choose to follow Him and His ways, to work in His strength instead of our own, that our default is not “tired” but “rested”. So what do you need to hand over to Him this week so that you can experience the rest that He promises?
