Happy Monday, gentlemen! Let’s continue to lead and love well. As men we are called to stand firm and be watchful. Since the beginning, we’ve learned the brokenness that comes when men don’t reject passivity. “When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.” Genesis‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬ How often do we stand around and watch the enemy prey on our families? How often do we act as merely bystanders? Do we run from the Truth just because it requires us to be uncomfortable? “The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” Genesis‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬ How often do we then blame others or our spouse for us not leading courageously? Let’s not sit on the sidelines, or merely be a fan of Jesus. Let’s lead intentionally. Let’s be watchful and stand firm. Let’s be bold and step into the uncomfortable. Let’s run to the feet of Jesus and fully surrender to him. That’s where true leadership begins. Challenge: Lead your family in prayer this week outside of a meal.
