Happy Monday, gentlemen! I hope you had a great weekend. Let’s continue to lead and love well. As guys, we often struggle with control. Control of the situation. Control of the process. Control of the outcome. Why do we do that? Because we want everything our way. We are all guilty of it. “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭46‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬‬ We are wired as fixers, builders, warriors, adventure seekers…you name it, but we must seek the Lord first. We can’t do life on our own for our own benefit. It wasn’t designed that way. A life lived truly submitted to the Lord changes everything. We have to fully trust in Him and know that He is our refuge and strength. Apart from Him we can do nothing. No matter what you’re facing or walking through, you can find your strength in the Lord, but you must run to him. You must take refuge in Him. You must fully submit to Him. You must deny yourself and humanly desires. God is in control. He loves you. He cares for you. He is with you. He is for you. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
